These are the steps I take when working with Indigenous nations:
• Listen to people. Learn their story as they tell it.
• Work with others to create content that describes – and celebrates – their work and accomplishments.
• Bring my ideas to the table, balancing my initiative with respect for protocol and leadership.
• Carry out the work as per an approved Communications Strategy, reporting line and business processes.
I hope that my work today contributes to a better tomorrow for our families and communities.
